Relief efforts to Japan

Dear friends,

I am unabashedly sending this to everyone I know. The news on the radio, Internet and TV may be difficult to listen to at times, but I hope you’ll take the time to read this. Japan is the 3rd most developed country in the world, and it’s struggling to deal with the massive earthquake and the resulting tsunami and destruction. Despite the absolutely amazing earthquake-awareness infrastructure, the number of dead is slated to increase dramatically. I hope you’ll have the opportunity, if not for anyone then at least for me, to donate to the Japanese Red Cross:

This page, handled through Google does accept American credit cards. 1600 yen is about $20. If you have already donated, thank you.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions.
Sincerely,
Rio
