Recycling plant ablaze in Ulm, Germany
Ulm, GERMANY — A blaze that swept through an Ulm recycling center on Sunday night injured a fireman and caused more than €1 million ($1.6 million) in damage. More than 300 firefighters responded to the blaze, which was discovered around 9pm on Tuesday in a warehouse belonging to the recycling center in Ulm, in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, police said. The recycled paper stored in the warehouses is likely to be blamed for the difficulty in controlling the fire.
