National EMS Week Begins May 16

National Emergency Medical Services Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s “front line.” The American College of Emergency Physicians website has a great educational PDF that contains stuff like:

    • The theme of this year’s EMS Week is “Anytime, Anywhere, We’ll Be There”. Firefighter-EMT.com will update this section with ongoing events from various regions.

    Penfield Volunteer Emergency Ambulance Service (website) will hold an Open House at their facility located at 1585 Jackson Road in Penfield, NY.
