Firefighter-EMT holiday competition (more than $100 in prizes!)
With Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, this year Firefighter-EMT.com is going to be doing something pretty special - we’ll be giving you opportunities to win swag and cash! See if any of the following interests you.

Category 1: Social networking!
Share Firefighter-EMT.com on Twitter and Facebook and earn a chance to win $50! Just send an email to mail@firefighter-emt.com with a link to your Facebook post, link, or Twitter linkback! A winner will be selected at random on December 31, 2010. You need not be a US resident to win.
Category 2: Photography
For the photography contest, submit 1 photograph to the Flickr Firefighter-EMT pool and/or email mail@firefighter-emt.com with “contest submission” in the title somewhere. The photograph must have been taken within the last 6 months and must be accompanied by a description. The photo remains your property but your submission also allows us to post the photo on the website should you win. A panel of independent judges (who will be revealed soon) will select the photograph that best represents firefighters, EMTs and first responders doing their work. The winner will receive an exclusive Firefighter-EMT.com T-shirt (at a value of $30) and their choice of a book (”Report from Engine Co. 82, an American Firefighting Classic” or a 2011 calendar. The submission deadline is midnight PST on December 18, 2010. The winner will be chosen by Christmas Day and announced shortly thereafter.
Category 3: Video
For the video contest, send an original video to mail@firefighter-emt.com with a message header of “video contest submission”. The video must contain a description of the content and must have been taken within the last 6 months. A panel of independent judges (who will be revealed soon) will select the video that best represents firefighters, EMTs and first responders doing their work. Dedication/compilation videos are discouraged but are welcome. Rules
One submission per person for any one category, up to three total. You do not need to be in the United States to participate, but you must have a valid email address to which we can request more information or let you know if you win. By participating in the video and photography category you give permission to Firefighter-EMT.com to display and share your video or photograph, but the original remains your property.
