2 Alarm Fire at Rosewood Center

An abandoned building at the Rosewood Center, a residential facility for the severely developmental disabled built in 1888 in Owings Mills, Maryland, burned on March 8. Firefighters took a defensive approach given that it was known to be unoccupied. No one was injured. At least two other blazes have occurred at the same facility in recent years, which is set to close shortly. The cause of the fire is unknown, but was declared “suspicious”.
